We will begin by pledging a portion of our earnings to an initial list of missionaries that have been pre-determined by the MissionDAO team (read our FAQ for our criteria). The list of missionaries that we have chosen will be supported on a once-off basis to meet clearly-defined ministry needs. They can expect to receive the money within 48 hours of us hitting the 25% Mint Milestone.
Missionaries who receive the money will also be required to make their mission reports available to the MissionDAO community for transparency and accountability.
After this initial list of missionaries receive the amount pledged to them, we will host regular Town Halls for DAO Token Holders to discuss, propose, and vote on the specific missionaries to give to - which requires a supermajority vote. We will also add in more due diligence processes in the future.
For security reasons, we will keep the identities of the missionaries/ministries in closed-access nations or doing sensitive ministry work hidden, except to the MissionDAO team. All other missionaries will be fully doxxed.
We believe that Art is a powerful tool to communicate the gospel, and we want to continue working with Christian Artists to articulate the beautiful word of God through visual exegesis.
With our first MissionDAO NFT Art mint, 'Genesis', which features 5 Artists from around the world, we will be selecting new and different artists for each upcoming collection.
Beyond the MissionDAO NFTs, we will also feature and collaborate with other up-and-coming Christian Artists to release their artworks, with proceeds from these standalone sales going to the DAO and the Artist(s) themselves.
Our partnership model with Christian businesses is part of our multi-pronged approach to support Christian businesses by increasing their business flow when we outsource merchandising activities to them. This also increases MissionDAO’s brand awareness by putting our brand on these merchandises, and to establish a connection between Christian businesses and MissionDAO holders.
Merchandise made with the MDC will be given to all DAO Token Holders.
Prices and strategies will likely differ over time with different types of products and vendors.
To decide on the specific strategy to support Christian businesses, we will host regular Town Halls after our first mint for DAO Token Holders to discuss, propose, and vote on the specific course of action.
